Hillsborough's $70M indoor sports facility nears approval

Negotiations for the $70 million indoor sports facility planned for the Museum of Science & Innovation campus are nearing completion, with the Tampa Sports Authority reporting this week that terms are largely finalized.

TSA CEO Eric Hart told the authority’s board on Tuesday that the guaranteed maximum price and final terms will likely be finalized by the next meeting. After the TSA approves it, the contract will be forwarded to the county for final approval.
