West Coast firm acquires St. Petersburg affordable housing complex

A Seattle-based real estate firm has acquired an affordable apartment complex in St. Petersburg.

Spira Equity Partners bought the Wyngate Apartments at 391 112th Ave. N for $58 million, according to two deeds recorded Monday. With offices in Seattle and Vancouver, Spira Equity Partners preserves and operates affordable housing across the U.S. for low-income residents. It owns five properties in Florida, including the latest acquisition.
