Lakeland Hampton Inn and Suites trades hands for $22M

A Canadian real estate firm acquired a Hampton Inn & Suites in Lakeland, marking its first hotel acquisition in the Sunshine State.

Brasswater — headquartered in Quebec, Canada — purchased the Hampton Inn & Suites Lakeland-South Polk Parkway on Aug. 18 for $22 million, according to a deed filed with Polk County. The 117-room hotel in Lakeland is located at 3630 Lakeside Village Blvd. The transaction reflects Brasswater's plan to continue investing in hotels across Florida.
