Health system sells Riverview land to apartment REIT

A Nashville health system has sold a prime piece of suburban Tampa property to an apartment developer.

Camden Property Trust, which owns multifamily properties throughout the Tampa Bay region, has paid $21 million for 64 acres in Riverview at 13097 Lincoln Road, between Simmons Loop and U.S. Highway 301 off of Big Bend Road. The seller, HCA Healthcare, had owned the property since 2005. HCA has retained a 16-acre parcel adjacent to the site that was sold to Camden, Hillsborough County property records show.
