Bern's Steak House to begin Haven transformation in late May

Bern's Steak House will close its sister restaurant, Haven, in late May as it prepares to redevelop the property to make way for a new concept.

Peddler and Potter Oyster House will replace Haven at 2208 W. Morrison Ave., Bern's said Monday. The Tampa Bay Business Journal first reported the redevelopment plans in October 2025. Earlier this year, Bern's revealed the new concept would be a seafood eatery, but did not reveal its name or any details of the new restaurant.
