Bolts coach Jon Cooper backs new Seminole Heights restaurant

A pair of South Tampa restaurateurs has taken over the former C House space in Seminole Heights, where they plan to open The Black Palm by late summer.

Ryan Fitzgerald and Cody Tiner, owner-operators of District South Kitchen and Craft in South Tampa, have signed a lease for the 3,000 square feet at 6005 N. Florida Ave. that The C House vacated in late 2025. The C House, which featured menu items beginning with the letter C, had been in the space since 2018.
