18-story St. Pete apartment tower advances three years after initial approval

An 18-story apartment tower is moving forward in St. Petersburg three years after it was proposed.

WSLD St. Petersburg LLC, an entity tied to Central Florida developer LeCesse Development Corp. and New York-based Whitestone Development Partners, is looking to go vertical on a 279-unit tower at 201 18th St. N, according to a construction permit filed with the city of St. Pete on April 15. The tower was first approved in 2023 by the city council acting as the Community Redevelopment Agency.
