Winn-Dixie to convert seven supermarkets including two Lakeland locations as part of Florida comeback

Often, the Winn-Dixie name has come off grocery stores across Tampa Bay, mostly welcoming Aldi. But now, two supermarkets are slated to become Winn-Dixie stores.

Seven Harveys Supermarkets in Florida and Georgia will convert to the Winn-Dixie banner, including two in Lakeland. The new stores are part of the company’s brand transformation and comeback in Florida, following Southeastern Grocers' transition to The Winn-Dixie Company, the parent of Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarket.
