Downtown Sarasota property near hospital seeks buyer for redevelopment

A site prime for redevelopment near downtown Sarasota is now on the market.

Ian Black Real Estate listed a 3.4-acre property in Sarasota for $25 million. The property at 1425-1427 S Tamiami Trail, which is north of Sarasota Memorial Hospital, is being marketed as a mixed-use redevelopment opportunity. A conceptual plan included in the marketing shows an eight-story dual-brand hotel with 246 rooms and a six-story, 279-unit residential building
