Tennessee REIT acquires newly built Pinellas County rehabilitation hospital

A Tennessee-based real estate investment trust has acquired a recently built rehabilitation hospital in Pinellas County.

Community Healthcare Trust Inc. bought the newly constructed Pinellas County Rehabilitation Hospital at 3410 Gateway Centre Parkway in Pinellas Park from Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals for $28.5 million. Everest announced plans to construct a $24 million physical rehabilitation hospital in June 2021, closing on the 6.18-acre site for $1.7 million in February 2022.
