Developer plans over two dozen houses in downtown Largo

A local, boutique development firm is adding a residential component to Largo’s evolving downtown.

Heron Properties is working on four developments within downtown Largo, an area the city has planned to revamp with its Horizon West Bay project that will bring a new city hall and retail space, as well as establish an entertainment district to promote concerts and weekend activities. The urban infill project will deliver what is often considered “missing middle” housing — housing types between mid-rise apartment complexes and single-family homes— including a live-work duplex, villas and townhomes.
