Waterfront restaurant could be first development on South St. Pete assemblage

A waterfront restaurant in St. Petersburg’s Old Southeast neighborhood could be the first development to break ground within a largely unknown developer’s growing assemblage.

Prometheus Partners has quietly assembled more than 20 acres in South St. Pete from the former Salt Creek Marina to its latest acquisition of the 81,000-square-foot office building called Bayboro Station. Despite the over $90 million in land transactions, the developer has yet to unveil a master plan, but a proposed restaurant received city approval Jan. 20.
