$31 million senior housing project in Largo opens to residents

The first phase of an expansive affordable housing project in Pinellas County is complete.

The Heritage Oaks project in the Ridgecrest neighborhood of Largo replaced 48 public housing units with 80 new affordable apartments that will be dedicated for seniors. The $31 million project features one- and two-bedroom units and will be reserved for those making at or below 60% of the area median income — a salary of roughly $43,890 per year.
