Hampton Inn to be built near Countryside Mall in Clearwater

A shuttered drive-thru in Clearwater is slated to become a hotel.

Simone Development & Management, a New Port Richey-based real estate firm, submitted a permit application to the city of Clearwater for an 89-room Hampton Inn on the 4.2-acre site. The property, at the corner of Enterprise Road East and US Highway 19 North, is home to a vacant double drive-thru, formerly occupied by Frenchy’s To Go and Chick-fil-A before that.
