$750M Lakeland industrial park kicks off next phase

Orlando-based Parkway Inc. is launching the second phase of a $750 million industrial park in Lakeland.

Parkway and Silverpeak Real Estate Partners acquired Lakeland Central Park, a 740-acre property, in 2019 for $10 million. The park is west of Airport Road and south of Old Tampa Highway. The first phase included infrastructure work and a 705,000-square-foot facility that sold in May to a corporate entity linked to Ashley Furniture for $70.5 million.
