Houston developer closes on 34 acres for Pinellas Park apartments

A Houston developer has closed on 34 acres of land and secured a construction loan for a 300-plus unit apartment complex that will move forward under Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Live Local Act.

The Hanover Co. closed on a vacant industrial site at 3900 Gateway Centre Blvd. in Pinellas Park for $22 million. Earlier this year, the developer applied for an environmental resource permit from the Southwest Florida Water Management District with plans for a 384-unit multifamily development. The developer also secured a $60.5 million loan from PNC Bank for the project.
