Greystar advances 336-unit Sarasota apartment project near airport

National developer Greystar is moving forward with plans for a 336-unit development near Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.

The project dubbed Birchway Sarasota, formerly referred to as Marlowe Sarasota, is proposed off 21st Street East in Manatee County and is expected to be built in three phases, according to plans submitted to the Southwest Florida Water Management District Oct. 22. Greystar, the Charleston-based real estate firm, closed on the land for $12.9 million in March.
