South Florida developer's plan for SPC site moves forward

The St. Petersburg College Allstate Campus is on track for a major transformation.

St. Pete City Council unanimously approved a necessary future land use change Thursday for Kolter Group to redevelop the 17.25-acre property at 3200 34th St. S. The property has been under contract for sale since December, but to move ahead with any sort of multifamily project, Kolter needed rezoning. The redevelopment will join the Skyway Marina District’s revitalization, including the massive mixed-use project Sky Town, which is across the street.
