New Pinellas County government campus advances in Clearwater

Pinellas County is moving forward with its plans for a new government campus in Clearwater, with a development team in place and preliminary steps toward construction underway.

A pre-application meeting request was filed with the city of Largo on Sept. 15 for Pinellas’ new government campus, which will be a four-building development, including a courthouse, administrative building, service building and parking garage. The 21-acre site, which was previously used as a car dealership, at 13600 Icot Blvd., is located in Clearwater, but permitting will go through the city of Largo.
