Mixed-use development with nearly 500 apartments breaks ground on Gandy waterfront in St. Pete

A waterfront St. Petersburg property that spent years mired in the foreclosure process is on its way to becoming a vibrant mixed-use development.

Miami-based Key International is leading the project, dubbed Waterways Apartments and Marina. Key International will build 470 apartments, 150 boat slips, an 8,000-square-foot waterfront restaurant and several other amenities across 39 acres at 12000 Gandy Blvd. N, on the St. Pete side of the Gandy Bridge.
