National builder buys last developable parcel in Starkey Ranch

A Houston-based homebuilder says it has closed on the last developable parcel of land at Starkey Ranch, a master-planned community in Pasco County.

David Weekley Homes said it will self-develop 139 single-family home sites on the property beginning in 2025. The builder said it is also jointly developing infrastructure to make way for a 300-unit luxury apartment complex in Starkey Ranch. The apartments will front Lake Blanche Boulevard.
