Midtown Tampa office building backfills SouthState's space with another bank

SouthState Bank’s former office space in Midtown Tampa will be filled by another bank.

Seacoast Bank has “assumed and extended” the lease that SouthState held at Midtown West, the office tower’s ownership said Tuesday. Midtown West is the Midtown Tampa office tower that fronts North Dale Mabry Highway. Another office tower, Midtown East, is under construction on Himes Avenue.
