Townhouses in St. Pete’s Historic Kenwood neighborhood begin construction

An Indianapolis developer with a strong Tampa Bay presence has landed a $13 million loan for its next townhouse project in St. Petersburg.

Onyx + East secured the mortgage in October from Construction Loan Services II LLC, according to property records. It purchased the approximately 1-acre property at 3061 1st Ave. N for $3.96 million in May, according to property records.
