St. Pete developer snags manager from Related Group

Peter Van Warner, former senior development manager at the Related Group, has joined Blake Investment Partners in St. Petersburg as vice president of real estate development.

The St. Pete resident will help lead the redevelopment of the eastern portion of the Jim & Heather Gills YMCA campus, among other projects. Blake Investment Partners and Greystar Real Estate Partners won approval earlier this year from St. Pete’s Development Review Commission for the YMCA project, which is dubbed Whitney Village and will include a total of 350 residential units and 32,000 square feet of retail space.
