Boutique condos, alongside preserved historic home, to rise on St. Pete's Mirror Lake

Backstreets Capital plans to preserve a historic house, build another single-family residence and go vertical on a boutique condominium complex — all on the same piece of property in downtown St. Petersburg.

The existing two-story building, built in 1937 by local architect Cade Allen in front of Mirror Lake, originally served as a single-family home and is now occupied by several law offices. As part of this project, Backstreets Capital intends to convert the approximately 4,900-square-foot structure back to residential use.
