Pulte Group buys almost 500 acres in Manatee County

A national homebuilder is moving forward with plans for 1,100 homes in Manatee County after purchasing almost 500 acres in Parrish earlier this summer.

An entity linked to Pulte Group paid $11.8 million for 495 acres at Rutland Road and Frye Canal in June, Manatee County property records show. The builder has started developing the first phase of a community it has named Riversong, which will include single-family homes and amenities such as pickleball courts, a resort-style pool, dog parks, walking trails and more.
