Student housing mid-rise near University of Tampa now open

Apella on Newport, a new student housing project in North Hyde Park, is now open.

The eight-story development, located at 311 N Newport Ave., features 150 units and 576 beds. It is the latest project from Rochester, New York-based Commercial Street Partners. The mid-rise will provide housing for students attending the University of Tampa, which is less than a mile away.
