Renovation project at Hotel Zamora in St. Pete Beach aims for 2024 finish

Construction has kicked off at The Hotel Zamora, a boutique lodge facing the McPherson Bayou inlet in St. Pete Beach.

A $7.5 million renovation began earlier this month and is expected to finish by the end of the year, according to a release. The 72-key hotel, known for its Spanish-style architecture, will be repositioned into a four-star luxury hotel after the renovation is finished.
