Contentious church redevelopment in St. Pete will move forward

Pasadena Groves, an infill development project on the property of a historic St. Petersburg church, will move forward after receiving the approval it needed.

St. Pete City Council voted 5-2 on Aug. 8 to approve a rezoning application for a 60-unit project at Pasadena Community Church. The Community Planning and Preservation Commission had voted 7-0 in May to deny the request.
