New nightclub to open in downtown St. Pete

Opulence Nightclub plans to open in late August at the former site of Ringside Cafe in downtown St. Petersburg.

The club will feature Afrobeats, house and R&B music. It will be located at 350 First Ave. N across the street from Williams Park and directly adjacent to a gentlemen's club under the same ownership. Renovations at the approximately 6,900-square-foot building are underway, according to the club's social media.
