Whataburger is coming to Tampa

Whataburger, a Texas-based fast-food chain with a cult following, is coming to Tampa.

The burger chain will bring its food truck to Lykes Gaslight Square Park in downtown Tampa on Friday to celebrate the announcement. The truck will hand out free patty melts, one of Whataburger's iconic menu items. Beyond patty melts, the chain is known for burgers, fries and milkshakes, all of which are made to order. It also offers a breakfast menu from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m.
