Bucs QB rumored to be buying up Davis Islands real estate

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield is rumored to be behind two high-profile transactions on Davis Islands in recent months.

Overtime Revocable Trust, rumored in real estate circles to be linked to Mayfield, paid $3.85 million for the property at 196 Blanca Ave. on July 31, according to Hillsborough County property records. While there is a single-family home on the property, it was marketed as land, which means the home will be torn down. The lot is roughly a quarter acre, property records show.
