Manufacturer to consolidate Tampa Bay locations in $80 million Zephyrhills plant

A global manufacturer will consolidate two Tampa Bay locations in a new facility in Zephyrhills, which put together a multimillion-dollar incentive package to lure the company away from Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.

MiTek, which sells software, services, engineered systems and automated solutions to the construction industry, has agreed to build a 480,000-square-foot facility at the North Tampa Bay Industrial Park Ready Site. Ready Sites is a county program that prepares large swaths of land for commercial development.
