These 26 Florida Big Lots stores will close

Discount retailer Big Lots will shutter nearly 25% of its Florida locations, leaving behind more than two dozen empty storefronts.

Columbus-based Big Lots said in a regulatory filing that it will close up to 315 stores nationwide or roughly 22% of its 1,389 stores. Big Lots' store closure estimates have grown exponentially since June, when it announced plans to shutter 35 to 40 stores. That number grew to nearly 150 stores in July.
