Nashville healthtech company Qualifacts consolidates in suburban Tampa office park

A Nashville healthtech company has signed a deal that will consolidate its Tampa offices in a more efficient location.

Qualifacts, an electronic health records firm, has leased 15,541 square feet in WestLake Corporate Center, JLL Inc. said Tuesday. Qualifacts’ current Tampa office is 24,400 square feet, split between two suites at Northport Business Park. The company will move to WestLake in October, JLL said.

While the move is a consolidation, it’s still a large office lease by Tampa Bay standards. Since 2015, 60% of all office leases in this market have been under 10,000 square feet, according to JLL data.

JLL had both sides of the deal: Caleb Lewis and Brad Knop represented Qualifacts, and Jim Moler, Deana Beer and Hans Kaunath represented the landlord, Dilweg. Dilweg has owned the property since 2017 and upgraded the elevators, roofs and heating, ventilation and cooling systems.

WestLake Corporate Center, which is near Carrollwood, is 90,531 square feet. Qualifacts will occupy Building 1 in the park.

“We searched for a new office in Central Tampa to accommodate our expanding workforce and support team member well-being,” Dawn Howarth, chief human resources officer at Qualifacts, said in a statement. “We wanted a contemporary office space where we could design the optimal layout to encourage cross-department collaboration, provide flexible spaces for larger gatherings and be conveniently located to restaurants, shops and major highways for commuting. After weighing our options, we felt WestLake Corporate Center was the best choice to meet the needs of our employees and support the company’s plans.”
