RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev, traded to Utah Hockey Club, lists Beach Park home for $10.9 million Sergachev listed his home at 20 Sandpiper Road in Beach Park for $10.9 million. He paid $9 million for the pre-completed property, which was built speculatively by Modesta Homes, in September 2023.
The Associated Press called the Utah Hockey Club’s deal for Sergachev, a two-time Stanley Cup champion, “a blockbuster.” The Lightning acquired Sergachev in a trade from the Montreal Canadiens in 2017, and he spent seven seasons with the team, recording 48 goals, 257 points and a plus-47 rating in 475 regular season games. Sergachev also played in 100 playoff games during his time with the Lightning.
Jennifer Zales of Coldwell Banker Realty, who represented Modesta Homes in September, is representing Sergachev in this sale. The home sits on a .22-acre lot.
“I am honored to once again bring this amazing bayfront new construction home to market,” Zales said in a statement. “Built by Modesta Homes and completed in 2023, it offers the perfect combination of modern design, view, and elevated/fortified construction.”
Zales said the home is “truly unique.” It is 8,766 square feet with six bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. It offers elevated living spaces to reduce the risk of flooding and better insurance premiums, according to Zales’ listing materials. It also has a new dock, new seawall and 10-car garage.
“These homes rarely become available,” Zales said, “and when they do, they lead our luxury market in Tampa Bay.” |
