Davis Islands home sells for $11.75 million

A waterfront home on Davis Islands has sold for $11.75 million.

The home on Ladoga Avenue sold for a record-setting $1,584 per square foot. It also set a record as the highest sales price for a canal front home in Tampa Bay and is the seventh highest sales price in Davis Islands.

It previously belonged to former Tampa Bay Lightning player Yanni Gourde and his wife, Marie-Andree Raby, who sold the property in October 2023 for $10.8 million. The couple purchased the property in 2021 and completed the home in 2023. It was custom-built by Halo Homes Tampa.

Jennifer Zales of Coldwell Banker Realty was the listing agent for the property.

“Once again, we see newer construction leading our luxury market,” Zales said. “Davis Islands continues to be a top choice for waterfront luxury buyers both locally and for buyers relocating from out of the area.”

The 7,416-square-foot home has six bedrooms and seven and a half bathrooms. The property features open bay views, a deepwater dock and more than 100 feet of water frontage. The home also includes a three-car garage.

Outdoor amenities include a designer saltwater pool and spa, a marble pool deck, a covered terrace, a gas fireplace and a full outdoor kitchen.

The owners extensively upgraded the property since acquiring the home in October. Upgrades include a whole-home generator, smart home technology, a dock upgrade, tropical landscaping and a landscape lighting system package.
