A waterfront home in St. Petersburg's Venetian Isles neighborhood has sold for a record-setting $7.5 million.

This marks the highest sales price per square foot in Venetian Isles’ history. The 5,516-square-foot home sits on a 0.23-acre lot at 1906 Carolina Ave. NE and was built in 2023. The sales price breaks down to $1,360 per square foot. A deed has not yet been filed in Pinellas County; the seller, according to Pinellas property records, was Jennifer and Samuel Raabe.

Sarah Howe with Compass Florida LLC was the listing agent for the property. Jennifer Zales, Alexis Logan and Carol Fasick with Coldwell Banker Realty represented the buyer.

“What powered this record sale in Venetian Isles is an incredible property along with the execution of a plan built exclusively for it," Howe said in a statement. "The sellers meticulously built [the home] with Milana Custom Homes, leaving no detail out. They nailed how to translate 'living the dream' into reality, making sure every aspect and every space delivered on that theme.”

The home, known as Casa Azul, has five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms. It offers views of Tampa Bay, downtown St. Pete and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. The property includes 142 feet of water frontage. The garage has extra storage with automatic remote-controlled lifts.

The home includes a gym, sauna, cold plunge and two levels of outdoor living space. Amenities include an infinity pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and bar. There is also a second-floor bar and lounge with a pool table, art TV and a large balcony.

The property includes a commercial-grade dock and a 40,000-pound high-speed lift and Jet Ski lift.

"Once again, newer construction leads our luxury market," Zales, Logan and Fasick said in a joint statement. "This home was truly special. We couldn't be more thrilled for our buyers and look forward to closing more significant new construction sales in the St. Petersburg marketplace this year."
