RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Florida Orthopaedic Institute to move HQ from Telecom Park Alliant Partners Development, based in Ybor City, said Thursday that it has signed a deal with FOI to lease the 85,000-square-foot building it owns at 5901 E Fowler Ave. in Temple Terrace. The Fowler location will serve as FOI’s headquarters and replace its Telecom Park location.
FOI’s 82,240 square feet at 13020 Telecom Parkway North will be vacant in June, according to data from CoStar Group Inc. FOI’s adjacent 16,000-square-foot surgical center in Telecom Park will be available in December 2025, according to CoStar. Brian Breeding and Wendy Giffin of Cushman & Wakefield Inc. are marketing the space for lease.
Alliant Partners acquired the building in August 2023. It was previously home to Coca-Cola Bottlers’ Sales & Services Co. LLC. The property will be redeveloped to include an outpatient surgery center with nine operating rooms that can handle same-day total joint replacements and spine surgeries. It will also include an orthopedic urgent care, exam rooms and expanded physical therapy and imaging capabilities.
Precise Construction is the general contractor. Grace Hebert Curtis is the architect on the project.
Alliant Partners is led by Carlos Alfonso, Frank Capitano and Spencer Muratides.
“Alliant Development Partners is proud of the partnership we have formed with Florida Orthopaedic Institute to develop their new headquarters in Temple Terrace,” Capitano said in a statement. “We look forward to bringing this revolutionary facility to Tampa Bay for the benefit of patients and the community.”
