Saltaire penthouse in St. Pete sells for $8.25 million

A penthouse in the Saltaire condominium tower has sold for a record-setting $8.25 million.

The transaction is the highest-priced condo sale in the history of St. Petersburg, according to Smith & Associates Real Estate. It is also the third-highest condominium sale in Tampa Bay’s history. A deed has not yet been filed in Pinellas County.

Jacki Fabrizio of Smith & Associates Real Estate is the listing agent for the penthouse. Chris Pitre of Smith & Associates represented the buyers in the transaction.

“Not only is this a top sale, but the penthouse was sold finishless as a blank slate, with the amenities of Saltaire, the downtown St. Pete location, and the spectacular city and water views being the priority,” Fabrizio said in a release. “The new owner has an incredible vision for this residence and will be able to completely customize the home’s interior design.”

The penthouse is on the 35th floor of Saltaire and is more than 6,100 square feet. It has 1,700 square feet of private outdoor space via three balconies. There are four bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms. The penthouse has 280-degree views.

Saltaire was developed by Kolter Urban, who is also the developer of One St. Petersburg, Art House, One Tampa and Hyde Park House. The tower includes 192 units, all presold by April 2022.

In late 2023, each penthouse in the tower sold for more than $7 million. This unit sold for $7.43 million, according to Pinellas County property record. The property was listed earlier this year for $11.5 million.

Amenities at Saltaire include a dog park, an Olympic-length pool, cabanas, outdoor kitchen areas, a news café, a fitness room and a club room.
