A vacant waterfront lot in St. Petersburg’s Snell Isle neighborhood has sold for $5.7 million.

The lot, located at 125 Bay Point Dr. NE, is one of the last remaining vacant parcels in Snell Isle. The 0.37-acre property totals just under 16,000 square feet and sits on the end of a cul-de-sac. The lot overlooks Tampa Bay and downtown St. Petersburg.

Robyn Gunn with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty listed the site for sale. Amy Bailey with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.

“Simply put, 125 Bay Point Drive NE stands out as one of Pinellas County’s most remarkable waterfront lots,” Gunn said in a statement. “Few properties offer the breathtaking combination of unobstructed downtown and open water views that this lot does. The recent sale presented a rare chance for an incredibly fortunate buyer.”

The seller is a private trust, which also owns the adjacent vacant parcel and a neighboring parcel that includes a 6,134-square-foot home, according to the property appraiser.

The property features 134 feet of water frontage with “sailboat-depth water,” according to the listing.

It is 1 mile from the Vinoy Golf Club, 2 miles from Sunken Gardens and just over 3 miles from downtown St. Petersburg.
