Sparkman Wharf lands new fitness studio Biomefit

Sparkman Wharf has landed a new fitness studio that will offer saunas, cold plunges and glute-focused “booty babez” classes.

Biomefit has signed a lease for the 2,400-square-foot storefront along Channelside Drive in a space briefly occupied by Rukus Cycling Studio. Rukus opened in mid-2023.

“Our inaugural location at Sparkman Wharf represents more than just a fitness studio; it’s a nexus for empowerment and an impactful connection with the Water Street Tampa community,” Rob King, founder and CEO of Biomefit, said in a statement. “Biomefit is carving out a niche and redefining the essence of personalized fitness and wellness amid the buzz of urban life.”

The location will include “strength equipment, flexible personal training areas, saunas and cold plunges under one roof,” according to a release from Strategic Property Partners, the developer of Water Street Tampa.

Other fitness concepts at Sparkman Wharf include F45 and Bodyrok.
