Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy has purchased an $8.5 million home in Tampa.

A trust linked to Vasilevskiy purchased a 5,000-square-foot Ballast Point home on April 12, according to a Hillsborough County deed filed Tuesday. Vasilevskiy also obtained a $5.5 million mortgage from Gold Star Mortgage Corp., according to Hillsborough property records.

Vasilevskiy declined comment through a Lightning spokesperson Wednesday.

The sellers, Kristin and Ronald Patrick, paid $2.175 million for the lot — a full acre on the open bay — in 2016. Sample Properties completed the home in 2018.

The home on Ballast Point went on the market in September 2023 priced at $10 million. Jennifer Zales and Lexie Zales of Coldwell Banker Realty represented the seller in the transaction. Rimma Magdessian of Florida Commercial Group represented Vasilevskiy.

Jennifer Zales declined comment Wednesday.

The house has five bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms. The property also includes a three-car garage and a cottage with storage and living space.
