The Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor has reopened Packard’s Steakhouse following an extensive renovation.

The restaurant was completely redesigned and has a new menu created by the recently appointed Director of Culinary David Morris. The restaurant was named in honor of Larry Packard, the designer of Innisbrook’s Copperhead Golf Course.

“While curating our menus and the overall dining experience, we worked to blend traditional, fine steakhouse menu items with non-traditional, innovative twists,” Morris said in a release. “Having the opportunity to redefine Innisbrook’s signature restaurant has been a privilege, and I look forward to showcasing our team’s hard work throughout the spring and months to come.”

Morris joined Innisbrook after serving as the culinary director at Alliance Hospitality Group in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Packard’s interior now features comfortable banquette seating, a new bar with an open floor plan and expanded and reconfigured patio seating to offer more views of Copperhead’s first and 10th tees.

Its dinner menu highlights premium cuts, including petit filet Mignon, bone-in ribeye and Kurobuta pork chop. It also offers items like Maryland crab cakes, a Wagyu burger, Jidori half chicken and Nantucket scallops. It also features a series of cocktails and a curated wine list.

The restaurant reopened its doors just before the PGA Tour’s annual Valspar Championship, which was held on Copperhead from March 18 to March 24. Innisbrook is owned by Sheila Johnson and is part of the Salamander Collection’s portfolio.

The golf resort sits on more than 800 acres and has 63 holes of championship golf. The resort also features 280 recently renovated guest suites and rooms, five restaurants, three bars, 10 tennis courts, seven pickleball courts, a Salamander Spa, six swimming pool complexes and two conference centers.
