Apartments break ground near Innisbrook in Palm Harbor

A South Carolina-based developer has broken ground on a multifamily project in Palm Harbor.

The Sora Vista Apartments are under construction at 35953 U.S. 19 near Innisbrook. The developer, Johnson Development Associates, has hired LandSouth Construction as the project's general contractor.

The garden-style apartments will lie at the corner of Fox Chase Boulevard and include 264 units. Construction is estimated to be complete in late fall 2025. Johnson Development Associates could not be immediately reached for comment.

When complete, the development will offer 11 different floor plans with units ranging from one to three bedrooms. The units will be anywhere from 800 square feet to 1,400 square feet.

"LandSouth is thrilled to bring Sora Vista Apartments to life," James Pyle, LandSouth president and CEO, said in a release. "Sora Vista Apartments will bring much-needed luxury multifamily living to the growing Palm Harbor area."

Charlan Brock Associates is the architecture firm that designed the complex. They are working alongside interior design firm Gas Lamp Design and civil engineering firm Kimley-Horn, according to the release.

Amenities at the project will include a pool with a lounge and outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, grilling stations, a dog park, a walking path and several outdoor amenity areas. There will also be multiple coworking office spaces on the site.
