A Seminole Heights restaurant property best known as the former home of The Refinery has been sold to a Tampa catering company.

Good Food Creations LLC paid $2.745 million for 5910 N. Florida Ave. in a deal that closed Monday. Ari Ravi and Nathan Timmons of Ripco Real Estate represented the sellers, QSupply LLC, in the transaction.

The building is 8,568 square feet with 38 parking spaces and sits on nearly three-quarters of an acre. The price per square foot is approximately $320, according to Ripco.

“The sellers purchased this asset in 2013 and made massive renovations for their well-known restaurant group, including The Refinery and Fodder & Shine brands, before vacating and leasing the site,” Timmons said in a statement.

The Refinery opened in the building in 2018, after restaurant owners Greg and Michelle Baker merged it with Fodder & Shine, which had been in the space since 2014. Chef Greg Baker retired at the end of 2019. Flocale, a hybrid concept from the operators of Westshore Pizza and King of the Coop, opened in the building in 2021 and closed in 2023.

“We encountered multiple obstacles due to the current economic environment and were able to navigate the process where the sellers and buyers achieved their goals,” Ravi said.
