Tom Brady's former rental on Davis Islands has sold for $9.65 million

The Davis Islands home once rented by NFL legend Tom Brady has sold for $9.65 million.

The home at 588 Riviera Drive sold in an off-market transaction on Jan. 4, according to Hillsborough County property records. The sale appears to have been a cash transaction, as a mortgage has not been filed. Both the buyer and seller were listed as private trusts.

The house was built in 2019, property records show, and its waterfront lot sold for $2.36 million in 2016. Including outdoor living spaces, the home is over 10,000 square feet. It has five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, according to property records.

When Brady left the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the home was listed for rent for $60,000 per month, Realtor.com reported in early 2023. Brady moved to the house after Baseball Hall of Famer Derek Jeter sold the other Davis Islands home Brady was renting in 2021. That home will be demolished to make way for a new mansion.
