RETURN TO NEWS INDEX With penthouse sales, all condos at downtown St. Pete luxury tower are sold The 192-unit tower from developer Kolter Urban was considered sold out in April 2022, roughly 18 months before construction was completed, but condo owners do not close on new-construction units until the building opens. Residents began to move in in the fall, and units were priced from $850,000 to more than $5 million. Smith & Associates Real Estate was the exclusive broker for the project.
The four penthouses, which ranged in price from $7.28 million to $7.7 million, in the tower all closed within the last week, according to Pinellas County property records.
“We are immensely proud of the sell-out achievement at Saltaire,” Bob Glaser, president and CEO of Smith & Associates Real Estate, said in a release. “This milestone not only reflects the desirability of the property but also the dedication and expertise of our team. Saltaire has redefined luxury living in St. Petersburg, and we are grateful to have played a role in bringing this exceptional development to the community.”
Construction began on the tower in April 2020. Saltaire also includes 8,600 square feet of ground-floor retail space. KAST Construction was the general contractor; SB Architects designed the tower.
The seventh floor features The Aire Club, an amenity offering with a club room, fitness center, events terrace, an Olympic-length pool and a news café.
Kolter Urban is also the developer of One St. Petersburg and Art House, as well as the forthcoming One Tampa.
