RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Behavioral health agency signs office lease in Tampa suburbs Agency for Community Treatment Services has signed a lease for 18,540 square feet at Buschwood Park II, an office complex at 3450 Buschwood Park Drive.
JLL’s Jim Moler, Deana Beer and Hans Kaunath represented Meridian Center, which owns the property, in the lease transaction. Kevin Platt of Smith and Associates Real Estate represented the ACTS.
“After touring the Tampa office market for office space options, the selection of the office property Buschwood Park II met our needs given its centric location and appealing amenities,” Asha Pereyra, CEO of ACTS, said in a statement. “With this move, the executive and administrative operations are strategically positioned for better proximity to patient-serving programs across Tampa Bay.”
ACTS will take occupancy of its new space in spring 2024.
“The flight-to-quality trend rings true in Tampa Bay’s suburban office markets,” Kaunath said in a statement. “The office property’s ownership, Meridian Development Group, invested early on to create a high-quality, amenity-rich experience and office environment, which is paying off as the office complex comprised of Buschwood I and II is now over 90% leased.”
The office lease is larger than average by Tampa Bay market standards. Since 2015, 60% of all office leases in this market have been under 10,000 square feet, according to JLL’s third-quarter market report. |
