Palihouse boutique hotel opens in Hyde Park Village

The Palihouse, a boutique hotel coming to Hyde Park Village, has officially opened.

The 36-room hotel is on the second floor of 1509 W. Swann Ave. Los Angeles-based Palisociety operates Palihouse-branded hotels across the country. Hyde Park is the 19th location for the group and the fifth to open for Palisociety in 2023.

“As the first hotel in the newly developed area that features brick walkways and majestic oak trees alongside premier retail shops, juiceries, coffee shops and a weekly farmer’s market, Palihouse Hyde Park anchors the area with its intimate, highly detailed experience and aesthetic,” Palisociety said in a release.

The hotel features “European-inspired style with a considerable dose of Palisociety’s signature, irreverent design layered throughout.” Guests have a private entrance area with a white oak ensconced staircase leading to the second floor to the check-in, The Lobby Bar and guest rooms.

The second-level lounge, café and bar will feature an all-day dining menu including items like lobster tacos, gin-marinated olives and a Paliclub. There will also be specialty coffee, classic cocktails and beer and wine.

Design elements include “an extensive collection of framed Hermès scarves, vintage artwork, Palisociety 'P' signature pieces and a layered, comfortable mix of patterns, textiles and antique furniture and accessories,” according to Palisociety.

The guest rooms include kitchenettes with mini-fridges, custom dining tables and gallery art walls, and many also have bespoke library seating.

Amenities include complimentary access to the nearby Hyde House coworking space and specially priced classes at Barry’s Bootcamp in Hyde Park Village.
